Perhaps your remember the famous quote from one of the America's most respected leaders, Abraham Lincoln:  

"A house divided against itself cannot stand.   I believe this government cannot endure permanently, half slave and half free."  

Lincoln was referring to racial division, to slavery based upon skin color..   Today we still have slavery, only this time the division is one of economics and money.   The slaves are wage slaves -- the people surviving on subsistence wages while the corporations bring in record profits.  

This page is an assessment of how and why the Corporate Money & Profit/Dopamine Addict  are leading us on the path to global-level self destruction.   It also directs us to some incredibly simple solution to some very complex problems.   We'll examine the most indluential social groups in present-day America, and asses their affects upon the nation as a whole.

If we are to survive, we must face the truth and base our actions on what the evidence tells us and not on fairytales and false stories which we presently pretend to be real.  

Even though a few people will find some of the statements on this page to be offensive, these assessments are expressions of what the evidence tells us.   Why speak the harsh reality?   Because without it, we are lost and most of us will die as a result of the human ignorance and/arrogance that is presently dominating everything.  

If you find anything offensive on these pages, ask yourself this question, "Am I offended because what I'm reading is untrue or am I offended because it challenges my unexamined beliefs?"     

We need to begin by understanding the context in which we are functioning.   As a nation, where are we?  And how well are we functioning?  The answer is not very well.   We have  fatal, yet curable disease, but our so-called leaders are ignoring the evidence.  

Present-day American society is suffering from the political equivalent of a human disease.  For example physical diseases like lupus, rheumatism, arthritis, and multiple sclerosis are diseases in which the immune system (a system that is supposed to protect the physical body from outside attack)  has gone awry (become dysfunctional) and is attacking itself.  

In other words, parts of our nation (groups of people) are attacking other parts (other groups of people) in a fighting frenzy that, if allowed to continue, will result in major self-destruction.  

Most of our corporate and political leaders have ceased to pursue the people's best interest and are now functioning on the basis of "To hell with you.  What's in it for me?   Profits ant any price.   The Corporate leaders are destroying everything to make more money and many politicians are busy attacking other politicians for that sake of gaining more political power.   This is blatantly obvious in the Republican Party.   Attack mode is all they know.  Kill the enemy at any cost.   Most of the Democrats have lost sight of their vision and are attacking back.   The bottom line is we (the collective we)  are on the fast track to self destruction
