The letter below was sent to President Obama by way of a fax,  as an Email,  and in the form of a physical letter.   I have yet to receive a  response, so I don't know if he received it or if it was trashed by his "gate keepers."

Dear Mr. President,

If this message sounds too harsh, it's because you urgently need to hear a wakeup call.   Why the urgency?   For two main reasons:  First, because every time you sell out to the bankers,  you also sell your own children's future.   Second, because overpopulation and human activity have turned on Runaway Global Warming and set in motion dozens of highly-destructive Global Climate Changes.

Solving the Problem Versus Treating the Symptoms

What Isn't Working:    As it's currently being managed, the banking system is not working.   The other corporations that make money by lending money are not working either.   Why?   Because there is a major, fundamental flaw inherent within the structure of these institutions.

That's not to blame the bankers or anybody else.  It's the system that is dysfunctional and not the people who run the financial institutions.   So no matter who you point fingers at and fire, no matter how much money is pumped into the system, and no matter what regulations are imposed upon the existing system, none of that will solve the core problem.   Without solving the core problem, everything that is being done today is futile gesturing.  

It's taking actions that are doomed to fail.  It's also setting us up for an even greater financial disaster in the near future, and it's wasting the little time we have left to reverse  Runaway Global Warming before it becomes unstoppable.  Every wrong move amplifies and  speeds  up highly-destructive Global Climate Changes.   Fairytale economics has to end!   It has to end now.   WAKE UP!   

The Core Problem:    Major conflicts of interest are at the core of the financial industry's problems.   Conflicts of interest are inherent in the banking system.   Here's why:   Any public service organization that is also designed to generate a profit has a huge conflict of interest between providing its intended service and making that profit.

Again, that's not to blame anybody.   It is the system, itself, that's dysfunctional.   In the present system, profits come first, and because profits come first, those running the major corporations (including the banks) have no choice.   These people must generate a profit or get fired.
